About Bike Friends Schon
Bike Friends Schon is a German cycling-holiday and hire provider (Bikefriends-Schon GmbH, Mönchengladbach) that hands out its hire bikes at bike stations in partner hotels in the north of the island. The fleet consists entirely of bikes from the Rose brand: road bikes from the aluminium entry-level Pro SL (from €18/day) through the Reveal series to the XLite 06 with Ultegra Di2 (from €34/day), plus multisport and multistreet bikes from €16/day and e-bikes from €26/day – including the E-Gravel Backroad Plus and E-trekking bikes from the Xtra Watt Evo series. You can hire from February to the end of November; at the end of the spring season the provider sells off its Rose hire bikes. The equipment is tailored to road-cycling guests: every road bike comes with an SKS pump, a saddlebag including a spare tube and tyre lever, a Sigma rear light, a Sigma bike computer and an Overclamp butler onto which you can clamp your own Sigma or Garmin navigation device (a Wahoo won't fit). At the bike stations there are SKS racing compressors and a wash station ready, spare tubes for punctures are free, and the in-house workshop handles repairs during the hire period. Send your saddle height and your saddle-to-handlebar distance in advance, and your bike will be ready and set up. When booking, a few particularities of this bike hire apply: online you only reserve from 4 hire days (for the following day only until 1 pm), and 1 to 3 days are only possible on the spot subject to availability. Handover takes place in the morning of the first hire day, and the handover and return days each count as a full hire day. Absolutely recommended!
Superb bikes, very knowledgeable staff and a professional process on site. Great that the other stations, e.g. in Playa de Muro, are networked too.
One small drawback: they had forgotten to fit the rear light on my bike. I only noticed when it got dark ;)

Super Bikes, sehr fachkundiges Personal und professionelle Abwicklung vor Ort. Super, dass auch die anderen Stationen z.Bsp. in Playa Muro vernetzt sind.
Kleines Manko, sie hatten vergessen das Rücklicht an meinem Rad zu montieren. Erst gemerkt, als es dunkel wurde ;)

Thanks again for the superb bikes at an unbeatable hire price for this class of bike. We have expensive racers of our own at home and simply don't want to expose them to the risk of damage during transport. That's why your fleet is quite simply the best on the island. Anyone who knows a bit about it knows how much fun an X-Lite is. The staff are very knowledgeable and nice. Fantastic!! We'll hire from you again on our next cycling holiday too. Best wishes.

Ganz toll!!!
Danke nochmal für die super Bikes zum unschlagbaren Mietpreis für diese Klasse von Rädern.Wir haben selber teure Renner zu Hause und wollen diese einfach nicht der Gefahr der Beschädigung während des Transports aussetzen.Deswegen ist euer Fuhrpark einfach der beste auf der Insel.Wer sich ein wenig auskennt weiß wie viel Spaß ein X-Lite macht.Personal ist super fachkundig und nett.Großartig!!Werden auch beim nächsten Radurlaub bei euch mieten.LG.

Totally friendly, accommodating and awesome bikes! Definitely recommended for those who, like me, appreciate quality. All the bikes I saw on site were new!

Habe schon einige der Vermieter in Alcudia ausprobiert daher darf ich mitreden.... Bike Friends Schon ist für mich der professionellste Vermieter er vor Ort. Total freundlich, Kulant und geile Bikes! Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert für die , die wie ich Qualität zu schätzen wissen. Alle Bikes die ich vor Ort gesehen habe waren neu!

I hired a bike for 2 weeks and had to take it to the workshop several times; the lads always helped me without any fuss, I probably just had bad luck.

Gute Mechaniker
Ich habe für 2 Wochen ein Rad gemietet, musste mehrfach damit zur Werkstatt, die Jungs haben mir immer problemlos geholfen, wahrscheinlich hatte ich einfach Pech.
