Bikefriends Schön hires out exclusively ROSE bikes directly at three hotel stations between Puerto de Alcúdia and Playa de Muro – from road bike and e-gravel bike to multisport and trekking model. Handy for hotel guests on site: you can enter your saddle height and reach online in advance, so the bike is set up to fit on arrival. Anyone spontaneously needing a bike for a day or two is better off booking on site subject to availability rather than online – there, a minimum hire period of 4 days applies.

Bikefriends Schön expressly names insurance against material damage as included in the hire price, but just as expressly denies theft insurance – in the event of a theft you are partly responsible for, you are liable up to the replacement value. A classic deposit is not named as such in the terms and conditions, though a deposit of €30 per person retained on cancellation is.
About Bikefriends Schön Mallorca
Bikefriends Schön does not run a classic bike shop, but three bike stations right inside partner hotels around Puerto de Alcúdia and Playa de Muro: Zafiro Palace, Playa Esperanza Resort and Ivory Playa. According to its own information, the entire fleet consists of ROSE brand bikes, from the carbon road bike (XLITE, REVEAL) through e-gravel bike and e-gravel to multisport and multistreet models with a lower step-through for trekking use.
Before you arrive, you can enter your saddle height and the saddle-to-handlebar reach online; according to the terms and conditions, the hire bike is then set up to fit and handed over on the morning of the first hire day. Different accessories are fitted depending on the bike type – road bikes, for instance, with a saddlebag, spare tube, Sigma rear light and Sigma bike computer, e-bikes additionally with a charger and battery key. According to the terms and conditions, you must bring your own pedals; hire is only possible for a surcharge and after prior reservation.
Online booking is only possible from 4 hire days; for shorter periods of 1 to 3 days, you can book on site subject to availability.
