The Canyon.Base in the Robinson Club Cala Serena is the Canyon hire station in the south-east of Mallorca – with over 60 road bikes and 40 mountain bikes at fixed category prices from €50 per day (2026 price list). Contrary to what was long assumed, you can, according to Canyon, hire here as an external guest too – but only with an advance booking by email, and you enter the club grounds exclusively with prior registration. Important before you travel: in July 2026 Canyon marks the Base as "temporarily closed" on its own website – clarify the current situation by email before you make plans.

Canyon does not state insurance, deposit or cancellation conditions on the Base page – clarify these points by email before booking. Note, too, that access to the club grounds is only possible with prior registration and that the Base is, according to the website (as of July 2026), temporarily closed.
About the Canyon.Base Cala d'Or
This bike hire is a special case among the bike hires on Mallorca: the Canyon.Base sits on the grounds of the Robinson Club Cala Serena near Cala d'Or and hires out exclusively current Canyon bikes. For a long time the station was regarded as a pure hotel-guest hire – however, according to Canyon, external guests can hire a bike here too. Availability is limited, bikes must be booked in advance by email, and without prior registration you cannot enter the club grounds. Simply dropping by spontaneously does not work here.
According to the bike list, the road-bike fleet ranges from the Endurace CF 7 with Shimano 105 (category C, €50/day) through the Ultimate CF SL 7 Di2 to the top models Aeroad CF SLX 8 Di2 and Ultimate CF SLX 8 Di2 (category A+, €70/day or €300/week). Among the mountain bikes, hardtails such as the Grand Canyon AL and Exceed CF as well as the full-suspension Neuron, Lux CF 29 and Spectral are available; e-bikes are available on request. You can also hire GIRO helmets (€5), SPD MTB shoes (€10) and Garmin GPS (€10). Canyon itself points out that not every model is in stock in every size.
Two limitations you should factor in: there is no delivery service, and the short opening hours of 9 to 11 am (closed on Tuesdays) call for a bit of planning. Since the website currently lists the Base as temporarily closed, a quick email before booking is worthwhile – you'll find alternatives at the bike hire in Cala d'Or.

Canyon Bikes sind zwar nicht ohne vom Preis, aber einfach super Bikes! Top Qualität! Ist eine Investition Wert.
Top performance
I had an MTB for a week and then switched to the road bike. The bikes are in top condition and ready to go straight away. Top current models with the very finest kit, the sort that quickly gets you gushing. If you like, you can pass on your bike fitting measurements from home and on collection day you get the bike ready-adjusted.

Ich hatte eine Woche ein MTB und habe dann auf’s Rennrad gewechselt. Die Räder sind in einem top Zustand und direkt startklar. Top aktuelle Modell mit allerfeinster Ausstattung, bei denen man schnell ins schwärmen kommt. Bei Bedarf kann man schon von zuhause aus seine Bike Fitting Maße durchgeben und man bekommt am Abholtag das fertig eingestellte Bike.
