Hürzeler shows the liability waiver (insurance) separately from the rental price – factor it in when comparing prices. Accessories, pedal choice and bike fitting, on the other hand, are included at no extra charge, and there is no deposit. In the high season (13.03.–10.05.2026) the weekly price automatically applies for 4 to 7 rental days.
About Hürzeler Can Picafort
The Hürzeler station at the Grupotel Gran Vista & Spa in Can Picafort rents out exclusively current Cube bikes – from the aluminium sport bike to the Agree Di2, plus e-road bikes (Cube E-Road) and e-bikes. The station is equipped with bike hire, a bike cellar, a workshop, a wash station and a boutique. The 2026 season runs from 13 February to 8 November; in high summer the rental opens daily from 9:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 19:00, and during the autumn tour period continuously from 9:00 to 19:00. Can Picafort is one of the three Mallorca stations where the guided tours of the autumn programme (20 September to 30 October 2026) start directly – on five days a week in the ability groups Hobby, Fun and Plausch (40–120 km at an 18–24 km/h average). The longer Hobby tours and the e-bike groups start at the sister station Playa de Muro Süd, around five kilometres away. Hiring follows a standardised process: you reserve via the Hürzeler booking system, on site your inseam is measured and the bike is set up by the mechanics. The station fits pedal systems (SPD, SPD-SL, Look Keo or flat pedals) at no extra charge; a bike computer, mini pump and a saddlebag with a spare tube and tyre levers come with every bike. The riding area right on the doorstep ranges from flat to rolling routes along the Bay of Alcúdia, across the hilly hinterland and – with a bit of a ride – into the Tramuntana mountains. Frequently asked questions
Do I have to reserve my bike in advance?
For 4 days and longer, yes: reservation runs through the Hürzeler booking system and is possible up to 3 days before the rental begins at the latest; you show the confirmation when collecting the bike. Day hires of 1 to 3 days are only available spontaneously on site – subject to availability, without advance reservation.
Is insurance included in the rental price?
No, the liability waiver (which covers damage to the rental bike from a fall or accident) costs extra and depends on the bike type and rental duration – for the Cube Attain, for example, €10–20, for the Agree Di2 €10–25. There is no deposit for the bike; only hire locks cost a €10 deposit each.
Can I ride with my own pedals and my own saddle?
The station fits SPD-MTB, SPD-SL, Look Keo or flat pedals at no extra cost; you bring other pedal systems yourself. Your own saddle is also possible – bring it without the seatpost (seatpost diameter 27.2 mm on the sport bike). On site your inseam is measured and the bike is adjusted to fit.
When is the Can Picafort station open?
The 2026 season runs from 13 February to 8 November, daily. In high summer (06.06.–18.09.) it is open 9:00–13:00 and 15:00–19:00, during the tour period (19.09.–23.10.) continuously 9:00–19:00, and thereafter 9:00–12:00 and 15:00–18:00.
Does Hürzeler also deliver the rental bike to my accommodation?
Yes, from 08.06. to 17.09.2026 there is an island-wide delivery service from €35 – the bike is set up in advance to your height, accessories are included, and Hürzeler handles collection at the end of the rental. Order by making a reservation plus a delivery form to vermietung@huerzeler.com. Outside this period you collect the bike from the station – or you check the bike rental in Can Picafort for alternatives.

Made a bike available to hire at short notice. Condition great, the gears worked very well, no tyre problems. Recommended! Prices a bit higher than the competition, but the quality is right and thus justifies the price.

Kurzfristig Fahrrad zum ausleihen ermöglicht. Zustand super, Schaltung ging sehr gut, keine Reifenprobleme. Empfehlenswert! Preise etwas höher als bei der Konkurrenz, Qualität stimmt und rechtfertigt somit den Preis.
