About Suncycling Mallorca
Suncycling is run by Jaume, who by his own account comes from Alcúdia and, before going self-employed, worked several years in the hire business – both at the front desk and in the workshop. By his own account he renews his bike catalogue every year; in 2026 there are 13 models to choose from, from Trek road bikes (Domane, Madone, Emonda) through Scott Addict road bikes and a Scott e-road bike to e-gravel (Wabash), e-MTB (Jealous), e-trekking (Trek Allant+6), a Merida e-bike, plus trekking and city bikes from Kross. The cheapest bikes start, according to the website, from €8/day (Kross City Bike), and the most expensive road bike listed – a Trek Madone SL7 Gen8 with Di2 gears – from €60/day. Every bike comes as standard, according to the provider, with a bottle cage, repair kit and pump. Accessories such as Garmin or Wahoo mounts, helmets, lights and locks are available in the shop according to the website, but are not automatically included in the rental price. Never again Sun Cycling!!
Sun Cycling Port Alcudia
We reserved 2 bikes with him 6 months in advance for the Mallorca 312. He confirmed all the details about crankset, cassette etc. by email.
When we wanted to pick up the bikes on Friday, he said we should come just before closing. When we were there just before 7 pm he said he didn't want to give us the bikes at the agreed price and that he didn't even have the bikes. As an alternative he gave us 2 bikes:
(We had no other choice, finding bikes somewhere at 7 pm) The chainring looked like shark's teeth (the chain slipped off several times while riding and I've now pulled an injury in my leg). The right clip-in pedal was faulty.
It was no longer possible to ride it properly.
Out of greed for money he destroyed our dream (Mallorca 312).
Never again Sun Cycling!!

Nie wieder Sun Cycling!!

Wir haben 2 Räder wegen Mallorca (312) 6 Monate voraus bei ihm reserviert. Alle Angaben über Kurbel, Kassette usw hat er per Mail bestätigt.
Als wir Freitag die Räder abholen wollten sagte er, dass wir kurz vor Ladenschluss kommen sollen. Als wir kurz vor 19 Uhr dort waren sagte er, dass er nicht die Räder mit vereinbarten Preis geben will und er hat überhaupt die Räder nicht.Er hat uns als Alternative 2 Räder gegeben:
(Wir hatten keine andere Wahl um 19 Uhr irgendwo Räder zu finden)Kettenblatt sah wie Haifisch-Zähne (Kette ist mehrfach beim fahren abgerutscht und habe ich nun Verletzung im Bein gezogen) Rechte Klickpedal defekt.
Es war nicht mehr Möglich damit richtig zu fahren.
Er hat wegen Geldgier unsere Traum (Mallorca 312) zerstört.
