About Teamdoublej

Teamdoublej was founded in 1997 by two friends with a cycling background. Joan C. Tomas is an 8-time Spanish track cycling champion, took part in four track cycling World Championships and the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, and was a member of the Spanish Olympic team for five years; as a native Mallorcan he knows, by his own account, the island's training routes. Jaume Coll ran "Sa bici" for ten years, a specialist shop in Palma dedicated to mountain bikes, which in 1992 was named the best SCOTT retailer in Spain; he was also in action as a mechanic at a Tour de France MTB appearance and, in 2012/13, worked for the elite sports centre and the Olympic track cycling team at the Palma Arena. The fleet in Colonia Sant Jordi is compact and listed by name on the website: two Orbea Orca road bikes (one with electronic gears), an e-Trek Verve+1 as a low-step model, a Trek Sport FX 2 Disc, a trekking bike from Kalkhoff, plus an Orbea Kemen ADV 30 Mid. According to market analysis, Cannondale also belongs to the brand portfolio. In high season (March to May), the Trek e-MTB is, according to the reservation form, only bookable by the week.
