Service and quality
Hired an MTB for 2 days. On the second day the gear lever broke and I was stranded in the middle of nowhere. I don't want to review a material fault but something else. The owners couldn't be reached by phone, and the "helpful service-bus drivers" refused to take me along. After pushing the bike for over an hour, I arrived at the rental and the owner said something like that could only happen going uphill. The route I'd ridden was flat and without any climbs. Not a single enquiry about my condition, how I was, or why they couldn't be reached by phone. He wanted to give me another bike and the most important thing for him was that he didn't have to give the money back. 17 euros mattered more than anything else.

Service und Qualität
Habe ein MTB für 2 Tage geliehen. Am zweiten Tag ist der Schalthebel gebrochen und ich stand in der Pampa.Ich möchte nicht einen Materialfehler bewerten sondern etwas anderes. Die Besitzer waren telefonisch nicht erreichbar und die "hilfsbereiten Linienbusfahrer" wiesen mich ab mich mitzunehmen. Nachdem ich über eine Stunde schieben am Radverleih ankam, meinte der Besitzer das sowas nur bergauf passieren könnte. Die gefahrene Strecke war flach und ohne Steigungen. Keinerlei Nachfrage nach meiner Befindlichkeit, wie es mir geht, warum Sie telefonisch nicht erreichbar waren. Er wollte mir ein anderes Fahrrad geben und für ihn war das wichtigste das er nicht das Geld zurück geben muss. 17 Euro waren wichtiger als alles andere.

False friendliness
Last year I was very happy with the team and had recommended several friends hire a bike there, which they did.
This year I wasn't happy with Velo Plus. I was given an e-MTB with a worn-out battery that only lasted about 60 km. When you then have to ride 25 km without assistance, you do get annoyed. Even worse, they didn't want to swap the battery because it's very expensive. I was practically told off by the boss Liane, and her husband added his comments too. Apparently I could just plan my rides so the battery would cope. Even my request to get the MTB with normal road tyres was refused.
Although I'd hired the bike for 12 days, I additionally hired an e-bike from another provider for 5 days. That way I could enjoy my long rides. I want nothing more to do with this false friendliness (Carmen excepted). I've already found a provider who caters to customers' wishes.

falsche Freundlichkeit
Ich war im vergangene Jahr sehr zufrieden mit dem Team und und hatte einige Freunde empfohlen sich dort ein Rad zu mieten, was sie auch taten.
In diesem Jahr war ich mit Velo Plus nicht zufrieden. Ich hatte ein E-MTB mit verbrauchten Accu, der gerade 60km hielt bekommen. wenn man dann 25 km ohne Unterstützung fahren muß, ist man schon verärgert. Noch schlimmer, den Accu wollte man nicht tauschen weil er sehr teuer ist. Ich wurde von der Chefin Liane regelrecht angezählt, ihr Mann gab seine Kommentare auch noch dazu.Ich könnte ja meine Touren ja so planen, dass der Accu es hergibt. Auch die Bitte das MTB
mit normaler Strassenbereifung zu bekommen wurde abgelehnt.
Obwohl ich das Rad für 12 Tage gemietet hatte, habe ich mir für 5 Tage von einen anderen Anbieter zusätzlich ein E-Bike gemietet. So konnte ich meine ausgiebige Touren genießen. Mit dieser falschen Freundlichkeit (Ausnahme Carmen) möchte ich nichts mehr zu tun haben. Ich habe schon einen Anbieter gefunden, der auf Kundenwünsche eingeht
