We hired two bikes and they were stolen in Palma. The bikes had been secured with two locks. According to the internet, all-inclusive and great insurance cover. The theft was witnessed by German holidaymakers. We then reported it to the national police. When we informed the operator of the theft, we were told that theft was not covered under the comprehensive insurance. In a face-to-face discussion, they wanted 5800 euros from us and threatened us with the police if we didn't pay. In the end we had to pay 4000 euros. The operator offers no theft insurance, which is standard with others.

Wir haben zwei Fahrräder gemietet und diese wurden auf Palma gestohlen. Fahrräder wurden mit zwei Schlössern versehen. Laut Internet all inclusive und tollen Versicherungsschutz . Der Diebstahl wurde von deutschen Urlaubern beobachtet. Anschließend erfolgte die Anzeige bei der national Polizei. Als wir den Diebstahl beim Vermieter mitteilten , erhielten wir die Nachricht, Diebstahl sei nicht in der Vollkasko mitversichert. Bei persönlicher Diskussion , wollte man von uns 5800 Euro haben und drohte bei Nichtzahlung mit der Polizei. Letztendlich haben wir 4000 Euro zahlen müssen. Vermieter bietet keine Diebstahlversicherung an, bei anderen ist dieses Standart.

Staff seemed annoyed
I wanted to swap the bike I was first given because of an imbalance; that took over 90 minutes and clearly seemed to bother the staff.

Personal wirkte genervt
Ich wollte gerne das zuerst bekommene Rad tauschen aufgrund einer Unwucht, das hat über 90 Minuten in Anspruch genommen und schien sichtlich störend für die Mitarbeiter.
A bit unprofessional but otherwise ok
Well, the bike was ok; unfortunately here a day isn't 24 hours but only until closing time. The manner came across as arrogant.

Also das Rad war ok, leider ist hier ein Tag nicht 24 Stunden sondern nur bis zum Geschäftsschluss. Die Art und Weise wirkte arrogant.
