Mallorca: Trekking Bike Hire

It doesn't always have to be a road bike!

It's clear that most cycling holidaymakers on the island of Mallorca use its well-built secondary roads to pursue their hobby of road cycling or to prepare for a sporting season. That said, more and more people are keen to leave the tarmacked roads behind and get to know the island's undiscovered corners. The best way to do this is on a cross-country or trekking bike. Trekking bikes are now available from almost every bike hire outlet. They have a more comfortable riding position and are superbly suited to gravel tracks. How often have you reached a point on your road bike where you'd have loved to carry on but couldn't because of your tyres? Many bike hire providers on the island also offer cross-country tours.
