About Bikepoint Cala Millor

Bikepoint was founded as a mountain-bike specialist – out of the conviction that Mallorca is good not only for road-bike training but for off-road riding too. Managing director and guide Alexander Brempel Ballester races MTB himself and has worked out five guided tours in the Cala Millor area: Sa Punta de n'Amer, Son Carrió, Na Penyal, Cala Varques and Camí dels Presos, plus riding-technique courses for beginners. The tours start at 9 am, a helmet is provided (helmets are compulsory), and to ease in there's a short warm-up loop on the home trail at the Punta de n'Amer.

For the bike hire in Cala Millor, the website lists eight models: Specialized Rockhopper (29-inch MTB, €15/day), Specialized Sirrus as a trekking and city variant (from €10/day), the kids' MTB Specialized Riprock (€7/day), two e-bikes – Orbea Keram e-MTB with a Bosch motor and Scott Sub Cross eRide (€29/day each) – as well as two Orbea Orca carbon road bikes with Shimano 105 (€29/day) and 105 Di2 (€40/day). On the road bikes, a bike computer, two bottle cages, a mini-pump, spare tube and tyre levers are included; you specify the pedal choice (SPD, SPD-SL, Keo) at reservation. According to its own information, Bikepoint also runs a bike workshop.

If you want to hire a bike here, plan realistically: issue and return run daily between 9 am and 9 pm, the bike must always be secured with a lock and locked away at night – free of charge overnight at the station.
