Ditsches Bikeworld is the bike-cellar operation of the Caprice Hotels (formerly Ferrer/Globales) Janeiro and Concord in Can Picafort, run since 2023 by Dieter and Christina Meier on their own account. Ditsches Bikeworld states prices, deposit and cancellation terms specifically in its own terms and conditions. A deposit or insurance is not mentioned on the operator's website – it's best to ask about that directly when reserving.
About Ditsches Bikeworld
Dieter Meier has been working on Mallorca as a guide and mechanic since 1999; in 2010 he opened the bike hire in Can Picafort at the then Ferrer hotels, in collaboration with "Bikeman". In 2013 his wife Christina joined, having until then run her own hire on the Playa de Muro; since 2018 the couple have worked together year-round in Can Picafort/Son Baulo, and since 2023 they have run the bike station on their own account. For a total of 15 years the business has been the official bike hire of the Caprice Hotels (formerly Ferrer) Janeiro and Concord and looks after their bike cellar. In the road bike hire you can choose from the Canyon Endurace CF 8 (carbon, Ultegra Disc) and the Canyon Endurace 7RB (aluminium) as well as the Stevens Izoard Pro Disc with Shimano 105 or Ultegra Di2. In addition there is an e-road bike from Niner with a carbon frame, GRX gears and a Bosch CX motor (range around 80–140 km). The bikes are equipped with bottle cages, a pump, tyre levers and a spare tube, but without a bike computer; the road bike hire does not include pedals, so you bring your own. In the high season from 15 February to 15 May a minimum hire period of 5 days applies, outside of that 3 days. For the e-bikes, Ditsches Bikeworld hires out trekking models with a Bosch motor: the Atala with a low step-through and around 60–80 km range, as well as Hercules and Bulls models with a 500-watt battery and around 80–100 km range, the latter optionally with a trapeze frame. Mountain bikes, city bikes or children's bikes are not currently carried by the business.Photos

Best bike hire in CP
For 10 years now we've hired our bikes exclusively at Ditsches Bikeworld. We've never been disappointed. If something doesn't quite work with the bike, help is at hand straight away. There's always time for a little chat too, and tips for rides are always on offer.

Bester Radverleih in CP
Wir mieten mittlerweile seit 10 Jahren unsere Räder ausschließlich bei Ditsches Bikeworld. Sind noch nie enttäuscht worden. Wenn mal was nicht so ganz funktioniert mit dem Rad wird direkt geholfen. Für ein kleiner Plausch ist auch immer Zeit und Tips für Ausfahrten gibt es auch immer.

In itself all ok, I'd have liked to get one of the new bikes, unfortunately there weren't any left.

An sich alles ok, ich hätte gerne eins der neuen Bikes bekommen, leider war keins mehr da.
We had a very lovely day!
There were five of us girls and we got very nice bikes. They even gave us a discount. Very friendly staff and a great route recommended on top. No mass processing. Superb experience.

Haben einen sehr schönen Tag gehabt!
Wir waren zu fünf Mädels und haben sehr schöne Räder bekommen. Man hat uns sogar eine Ermäßigung gegeben. Sehr freundliches Personal und dazu eine tolle Route empfohlen. Keine Massenabfertigung. Super Erlebnis.

For 3 years we've hired our bikes only at Bikeworld! Make sure to ask for one of the new models... the difference from the old bikes is huge
