Nano Bicycles Palma de Mallorca
Quick Verdict
Nano Bicycles runs two shops in Palma's old town, less than a 5-minute walk apart: Shop 1 on Carrer de la Mar for road bikes and gravel bikes, Shop 2 on Carrer Apuntadors for city, trekking, fitness, e-bikes and kids' bikes. According to the website the fleet is renewed annually (currently including Specialized models 2025-2027, Trek Madone Gen 8, Pinarello F1 Di2 2026), with city bikes from €12/day. About Nano Bicycles Palma de Mallorca
Nano Bicycles has been hiring out bikes from Palma's old town for over ten years and, by its own account, changes its range annually. Among the road bikes currently on offer are the Specialized Tarmac SL8, the Trek Madone SLR Gen 8 and the new Pinarello F1 Di2 2026, plus gravel models such as the Specialized Diverge E5 and the Trek Checkpoint. In the second shop, city bikes such as the Specialized Alibi dominate, along with trekking bikes such as the Specialized Sirrus as well as e-bikes with a Bosch motor (such as the Trek Verve+ 1 or Cube Touring Hybrid EXC) and an e-road bike with a Mahle drive (Scott Addict eRide).
For families there is, according to the website, a kids' bike (Specialized Jett, 20 or 24 inch), a child seat for the luggage rack as well as a child trailer for one or two children. Each bike comes with a repair kit (pump, spare tube, tyre lever); on road bikes, the provider says, a bottle cage, multitool and a Garmin mount on the stem are additionally included. According to the website, a helmet and clipless pedals (Shimano SPD, SPD-SL or Look Keo) can be added from €3/day, and the staff will fit your own pedals on request.
The minimum hire period is one day, and collection and return are possible only within opening hours at the shops. Anyone taking their training seriously can, according to the website's FAQ, also use the bikes for races such as the Mallorca 312 (for which a minimum hire period of 3 days applies). By its own account, Nano does not offer theft or damage insurance; you are advised to check your own travel or credit-card insurance.
