Pollensa Cycling is a pure road bike hire in Puerto Pollensa with its own workshop and, by its own account, more than 10 years of experience in the business. The fleet ranges from an entry-level aluminium road bike to a carbon top model with Di2 shifting, plus two e-road bikes. Good for anyone who specifically needs a high-quality road bike on the island for several days and cares about matching pedals, frame size and optional extras such as power meter pedals; anyone looking for an MTB, trekking or city bike will not find one here.

About Pollensa Cycling Team
From its shop in Puerto Pollensa, Pollensa Cycling hires out exclusively road bikes and e-road bikes - from the aluminium entry-level Mendiz F8 (from €20/day) to the carbon top model Colnago V5Rs Di2 with Shimano Di2 Ultegra shifting (from €65/day for hire periods over 13 days, €110/day for a single day). In between there are two Scott Addict variants (with and without Di2) and two e-bike models, the Yamaha Cross RC and the Mendiz eF21, to choose from.
According to the website, all bikes are handed over clean and technically checked with a repair kit and pump; from a hire period of more than three days a water bottle is also included. You are flexible when it comes to pedal choice: your own pedals, clipless systems such as Shimano SPD/SPD-SL or Look Keo/Delta, and flat pedals are fitted by the team free of charge; power meter pedals and systems such as Speedplay or Crankbrothers Egg Beater cost extra per day. The frame size is determined from your inside leg length or an existing bike-fit study, which you can send in advance by email.
By its own account, the team has been active in road bike hire on Mallorca for more than 10 years. As well as the hire, Pollensa Cycling runs a bike workshop at the same location, offers bike sales and a transfer service, and also rents storage space for your own bikes (bike storage). One point of criticism to factor in: insurance is not automatically included but has to be booked as an option, and according to the hire terms only covers damage up to €250 - accessories such as the pump, helmet or e-bike charger, as well as damage during races and cycling events (e.g. the 312), are expressly excluded.
