Rental Bikes Mallorca has been the volume hire company on the east coast since 2007: by its own account over 700 bikes, delivery to any address on the island and city bikes from €9/day. Its strength lies in holiday and family bikes – from children's bikes to pedal cars for up to 8 people – but carbon road bikes with Shimano 105 or Di2 are also in the range. Unlike all-inclusive hire companies, here the insurance is added on top and doesn't cover theft – use the supplied lock and keep the bike under cover at night. Payment is 50% by bank transfer on confirmation, the rest in cash on handover.
About Rental Bikes Mallorca
Rental Bikes Mallorca has run bike hire in Cala Millor since 2007 – starting out as a hire service for two hotels, and today, by its own account, one of the largest providers in the east of the island with over 700 bikes and around 120 partner accommodations on Mallorca plus about 20 on Menorca. The head office is on Avenida Llevant, Local 31 in Cala Millor; a second hire point sits at the old station in Artà on the Via Verde, the car-free railway route between Manacor and Artà. Delivery is by vans and trailers carrying up to 38 bikes per trip to any address on the island – free from €150 booking value. For families the range is unusually broad: there are bikes from a balance bike for children from 80 cm tall (children's bike from €7/day) up to frame sizes for 2-metre adults, plus pedal cars for 2 to 8 people, e-tandems and e-scooters. Sporty riders hire carbon road bikes with Shimano 105 from €28/day or with Di2 from €35/day (frame sizes from 50) as well as carbon gravel bikes from €24/day. A helmet, lock and basket are included with every bike, and in the event of a breakdown the team helps by phone or WhatsApp – free with insurance booked, without it there's a €20 call-out charge plus parts. There are also guided tours in German, English and Spanish, for example along the Via Verde to Son Carrió or to the caves of Porto Cristo. Groups of more than 10 people get a 10% discount when paying together, and for hire periods of over two weeks there are special rates. All in all OK
I was able to collect the road bike I'd ordered at the agreed time. Unfortunately it wasn't in the condition you'd like or that it should be in. However, Nathalie, a member of staff (speaks German), immediately made sure I got a different road bike the same day (after my first ride). She's very friendly and tries to do everything she can. Which was very positive. The second bike was fine. Unfortunately the mechanics take the odd thing too lightly. All in all the bike was OK. Your own saddle is recommended but not a must.
Value for money is fine

Ich konnte das bestellte Rennrad zur vereinbarten Zeit abholen. Leider war es nicht in dem Zustand, wie man es gerne haben möchte bzw. es sein sollte. Nathalie, eine Mitarbeiterin (spricht deutsch) hat sich aber sofort darum gekümmert, dass ich noch am gleichen Tag (nach meiner ersten Ausfahrt) ein anderes Rennrad bekommen habe. Sie ist sehr freundlich und versucht alles möglich zu machen. Was sehr positiv war. Das zweite Fahrrad war in Ordnung. Leider nehmen die Mechaniker das ein oder andere auf die leichte Schulter. Alles in allem war das Rad ok. Eigener Sattel ist empfehlenswert aber kein Muss.
Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist in Ordnung

Better give it a miss or you'll be annoyed!
It started with the ordered bike arriving at 10 o'clock instead of 9 o'clock as booked. The battery was supposed to last 100 km, so a leisurely 70 km tour mostly in level 1 was no problem…. Then after 65 km the battery was flat… To top it off there was a stupid remark as a bonus: that this was normal. Instead of a quick sorry, a discount for the next booking… whatever. Rental Bikes Mallorca, better give it a miss

Lasst es lieber pder ärgert euch!
Es fing damit an, dass das bestellte Rad um 10 Uhr statt, 9 Uhr wie gebucht, da war. Der Akku sollte 100 km reichen, eine gemütliche 70 km Tour überwiegend in Stufe 1 also kein Problem…. Nach 65 km war dann der Akku am Ende… Zum Schluss gab es als Bonus noch einen blöden Spruch: das wäre normal. Anstatt ein kurzes Sorry , ein Nachlass für die nächste Buchung… was auch immer. Rental bikes Mallorca, lasst es lieber

We hired 2 road bikes for 1 week / 10 days, Massi bikes. Over the 10 days we were at the shop several times to have the bikes re-adjusted, because the poorly maintained bikes didn't work properly.

Es war ok ...
Wir hatten für 1 Woche bzw. 10 Tage 2 Rennräder gemietet, Massi Räder. In den 10 Tagen waren wir mehrfach zur erneuten Einstellung der Räder im Shop da die, nicht gut gepflegten Räder, nicht vernünftig funktioniert haben.
Expensive
I paid €84 + €30 delivery for 3 days, and for that I'd have expected flawless kit; the gears weren't well adjusted.

iIch habe für 3 Tage 84€ + 30 € Anlieferung bezahlt, dafür hätte ich schon einwandfreies Gerät erwartet, Schaltung war nicht gut eingestellt.
Nice but technically tricky
We had 2 MTBs for 4 days with delivery, but unfortunately the tyres were very worn, so that in light drizzle it became almost impossible. When we mentioned it, they cited supply shortages due to Covid.

Wir hatten 2 MTB’s für 4 Tage mit Lieferung, leider waren Reifen sehr abgefahren, so dass es bei leichtem Nieselregen fast unmöglich wurde. Bei Anmerkung nannte man Lieferengpässe durch Covid.
