Road-cycling holidaymakers are out on the island's roads in convoys, colourful mountain bikes flash by everywhere, seniors and families are out and about, and road-racing pros and amateurs are taking up their training.

As the temperatures cool, the cycling season begins again. Dozens of bike-hire outlets are on hand for the cycling traveller, the choice of hire bikes is enormous, and Mallorca's landscape is just waiting to be explored by bike. As well as the spring months, autumn also sees plenty of cycling holidaymakers on the island, since the climate makes it almost ideal to spend Europe's last sunny days on two wheels. Alongside the many European cycling tourists, more and more “world cyclers” are finding their way to Mallorca.
