About Pro Cycle Hire
In Port de Pollença, Pro Cycle Hire hires out exclusively road bikes – from the more affordable Massi Team Race (105, 12-speed) to current Colnago V4 models with Shimano Di2 shifting and Vision carbon wheels. According to its own information, every bike comes with pedals of your choice, a saddle pack and a pump included in the hire price – on some models carbon wheels are only bookable as a paid upgrade and subject to availability. Colnago frames follow the brand's own geometry, which deviates from common road-bike sizing charts; anyone hiring a Colnago for the first time should check the provider's conversion table beforehand.
Attached to the station is the Pro Cycle Café, from which, according to the website, an open group ride sets off at 9 a.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – around 100 km at an average of 26 to 28 km/h, with a coffee stop and a return at about 1 p.m. Group bookings of eight people or more receive a 10% discount on hire and tours. Pro Cycle Hire does not offer its own delivery service to your hotel; for transfers and bike delivery the provider refers you to an external taxi partner, whom you contact directly by email.
Important for booking: according to the hire terms, accident insurance costs €25 per week (then €2 per day) and covers neither theft nor damage to the frame, gears or fork. If you cancel more than 28 days before the start of the hire, a processing fee of 75% of the hire price applies; with a shorter notice period there is no refund. Wearing a helmet is compulsory on Mallorca in any case, but it is expressly stated in the terms.
